How does the usage balance work?

Scope uses a simple pay-as-you-go balance. Each action has a transparent dollar cost:

Sourcing candidates: $0.10 per candidate using Cloud Auto-Pilot. Local OpenProfile sourcing is completely free.
AI Analysis: $0.00 using our proprietary Sovereign models (e.g., Scope Pulse, Scope Deep), up to $0.40 for deep analysis with Frontier models like Claude 3.5 Opus.
Contact Reveals: $0.10 if a personal email or phone number is found.

Your usage balance resets monthly with your plan. You can also add $30 to your balance anytime — it never expires.

How does Cloud Auto-Pilot sourcing work?

Cloud Auto-Pilot performs an initial 'burst' search against our 800M+ profile database to give you an immediate shortlist, then seamlessly hands off the search to our distributed worker network to continuously find fresh candidates in the background. You just set your requirements, and Scope fills your pipeline automatically.

This feature costs a flat $0.10 per candidate. No LinkedIn account or browser extension is required.

Should I use my own LinkedIn account to source?

It depends on how you prefer to source!

You can enrich for free by using the OpenProfile app which sources via your own LinkedIn account. Simply install the OpenProfile app, connect it to Scope, and paste LinkedIn search URLs or profile lists. This is available on all plans including Free, at no cost.

Alternatively, using Cloud Auto-Pilot uses your usage balance but does not require a LinkedIn account or browser extension.

What integrations does Scope support?

Scope integrates with SmartLead and Instantly for email outreach sequencing, Google Sheets for live pipeline sync, and OpenProfile for desktop-based LinkedIn sourcing. Pro and Elite plans also include API access and webhooks for custom integrations.

All email integrations are available on Starter and above.

Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?

No. Across all plans, Scope's AI does the sourcing.

For the Elite tier, we simply add a human optimization layer to calibrate your role definition, scoring, and filters so you don't waste time iterating blindly to get the right candidates.

Do we need a call to get set up or for the Elite tier?

No - Scope is entirely self-serve and you can get started right away without speaking to anyone. For the Elite tier, the calibration process also works entirely async. Calls are optional and only recommended for unusually complex roles.

What do I actually get with a Calibrated Role (Elite Tier)?

On the Elite plan, you receive one calibrated role each month: our expert sourcers will review your job description, improve role clarity, quality-check candidate results, and tune the AI results to ensure the shortlist is highly relevant.
